A natural spring-fed pool right in the heart of Zilker Park — it stays a refreshing 68°F year-round. In September, Austin is still warm, so this is a dream way to cool off and relax during the weekend.

3. South Congress Avenue (SoCo)

Austin's most iconic stretch of boutiques, vintage shops, food trucks, and restaurants. Great for brunch, people-watching, and picking up a little something to remember the trip. The photo-worthy "I love you so much" mural is right here too!

4. Congress Avenue Bridge Bat Colony

Every evening from spring through fall, 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats emerge from under the Congress Bridge at sunset — it's one of the most jaw-dropping natural spectacles in the country. September is peak season. A truly unforgettable experience for out-of-town guests!
